This polished Mezuzah case made from nickel silver is imprinted with biblical text through the use of a special technique called photo-etching.
Israel-native artist Shirely Lev is a graduate of Israel's prestigious Bezalel Academy of Art and has also studied theology and philosophy at Tel Aviv University. Lev uses a modern technique to bring the words that have something of an ancient style. Written in Rashi script, the Hebrew text is taken from the Shema Yisrael prayer that appears in the Torah. In these psalms, we are commanded = inscribe the words of the Shema Yisrael prayer and affix them to the doorposts. Decorated with doves and an olive branch, this mezuzah will bring peace and blessing into your home. Shirely Lev's mezuzahs are also imprinted with "Shomer Dlatot Israel", which means the protector of our gates, and are signed by the artist.
