The Hamsa Hand is crafted from polymer clay and gold.
The gold-plated Hebrew lettering spells out the first verse  of the sacred Jewish Prayer Shema Yisrael: "Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One." On the reversed side, a blessing for the home is written in Hebrew

The background appears on polymer clay using special technique called the Millefiori process , meaning creating a picture by 3D sculpting. Millefiori, which literally means "a thousand flowers", is an ancient glasswork technique used to produce distinctive polished patterns on glassware and now is applied on polymer clay.  This technique gives the piece its colorful, radiant look.
